Oasis announce Australian dates for 2025 world tour

Oasis have announced Australian dates for their 2025 world tour.

The ‘Wonderwall’ legends – who are embarking on a huge reunion tour next year – will play their first live shows together since 2009, with gigs already confirmed for the UK and Ireland, and North America.

Now, Oasis have confirmed they are heading to “the land down under” for a pair of concerts in Melbourne and Sydney.

Brothers Liam, 52, and Noel Gallagher, 57, will perform at Marvel Stadium, Melbourne on October 31, 2025, before moving onto Sydney’s Accor Stadium the next night.

In a statement, the band quoted Men at Work’s hit ‘Down Under’ and said: “People of the land down under. ‘You better run – you better take cover..‘

“We are coming. You are most welcome.”

Tickets for the Melbourne gig are available on general sale from 10am AEDT on October 15, and with tickets for the Sydney gig going on sale two hours later.

Last week, the ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ rockers announce the first international dates for the ‘Oasis Live 25’ tour, with tickets for shows in Toronto, Chicago, New Jersey, Los Angeles and Mexico City selling out immediatley.

The Britpop icons have already sold out 19 stadium shows across the UK and Ireland next summer.

Support acts are yet to be revealed for any of the gigs, but Liam has teased the idea of Richard Ashcroft, Blur and the Manic Street Preachers being part of the bill.

taken to X to respond to fans’ questions about the musicians being lined up – saying The Verve frontman Richard’s involvement would be “Biblical”.

When a fan on X asked the singer if the 53-year-old singer would be appearing on the tour, Liam replied: “That would be BIBLICAL”.

Responding to one fan suggesting Blur singer Damon Albarn, 56, and his band should open for them, Liam said about Oasis’ former rivals: “I love blur and at some point we have to do n old dears tours. (sic)”

He then added: “Richard Ashcroft or Manic street preachers as support”, before adding shortly after: “the manics it is”.
