Jay Z will come face-to-face with Rachel Roy for the first time this Saturday (24.05.14) since his fight with Solange Knowles.
The rapper and the fashion designer, whose chat at the Met Gala after party allegedly provoked his sister-in-law to attack him in an elevator on May 5, are both set to attend Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s wedding this weekend, but his wife Beyoncé is still just a "maybe."
A source told UsMagazine.com that the Jay Z and Rachel, 40, are among the 120 guests that will help the couple celebrate their marriage at parties in both Paris and Florence, Italy.
The insider predicted it could be awkward between them as Solange, 27, reportedly attacked the music mogul as she thought he was flirting with Rachel in front of Beyoncé at the prestigious ball in New York City earlier this month.
The source said: "Solange yelled about Rachel on Beyoncé’s behalf, asking Jay, ‘How could you treat my sister like that?’ Solange walked up and started screaming at Rachel. She was making a big scene."
But a source close to Rachel, who was previously married to Jay’s former business partner Damon Dash, insisted that she never spoke to the ‘Otis’ hitmaker at the star-studded event.
Jay Z and Solange have since made up and spent last weekend together with Beyoncé and her mother, Tina Knowles, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
