Ariana Grande ‘overwhelmed and moved’ by the reaction to Yes, And? as its tops chart

Ariana Grande is “so emotional” after ‘Yes, And?’ topped the chart.

The 30-year-old pop superstar admits it’s “overwhelming and so sincerely moving” that so many of her fans connected with the lyrics to her comeback single, which became her eighth number one on the Billboard Hot 100.

She gushed on her Instagram Stories on Monday night (22.01.24): “I am so so so…… so emotional.

“Thank you from the bottom of my heart to my fans, the most incredible angels in the world, for the love you have shown this song and me.”

She continued: “It is overwhelming and so sincerely moving to see how many of you this song has resonated with and it is such a gift to feel so seen and held by you!

“Thank you for your positivity, for your support and for everything. You have no idea how much you mean to me! This is absolutely because of and entirely for you. Thank you!”

The hit is the lead single to Ariana’s upcoming album ‘Eternal Sunshine’, which is scheduled for release on March 8, 2024.

The title is seemingly a tribute to her late former boyfriend, rapper Mac Miller, whom she dated from 2016 to 2018.

It’s named after the 2004 film ‘Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind’.

Mac – who tragically died from an accidental overdose aged 26 in September 2018 – was a huge fan of the flick and Ariana loves Jim.

Speaking to Complex in 2013, he said: “I love Jim Carrey when he’s being serious. He killed this role. Whenever I’m talking to a girl, I always tell them to watch Eternal Sunshine. It cuts deep.”
