Alesha Dixon always watches ‘Britain’s Got Talent’.
The 35-year-old star – who has seven-month-old daughter Azura with boyfriend Azuka Ononye – may be a judge on the talent show, but she still sits down to watch the programme with her family every week and enjoys it as a fan, rather than a critic of her own work.
She said: "It’s been brilliant so far. I watch the show at home with my family as if I’m not a part of it.
"It’s a strong year in all aspects of variety and I think that’s the beauty of the show – there’s something in there for everyone."
Alesha admits it is "difficult" leaving her young daughter to go to work, but feels lucky to have such a strong support network.
She said: "It’s difficult to leave Azura in the mornings, but she’s in great hands with my family and she’s a happy baby, so I balance my work life with my home life."
And the former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ judge laughed off speculation she is set to join ‘The X Factor’.
She told Britain’s OK! magazine: "I’m really happy on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’. I’ so blessed to go to work and be part of such a fantastic panel.
"With everything in life, you have to be grateful for what you have."
