Chloe Ferry feared she had lost her eyesight after spending too much time on her phone.
The 25-year-old reality star was left terrified on Thursday (24.09.20) when she suddenly couldn’t see after looking at her phone screen for too long.
Her sight later returned but she used the gadget one more time to update her fans, and revealed she will be taking some time off from social media.
She told her Instagram followers: "I’ve never, ever, ever had it like that before. I’m spending way too much time on my phone.
"I do normally get really bad migraines but I’ve never had that before where I couldn’t see. It was actually quite scary. This morning I was supposed to do all of my work, but I’ve took the morning off. (sic)"
The ‘Geordie Shore’ star often uploads a number of selfies on social media via her phone, but she has banned herself from touching her handset for the time being.
She gave one last update to apologise for missing work.
Chloe said: "I want some time off my phone and I’m just going to chill."
But the star quipped: "Obviously if any lads text me today, the hundred that I’ve got, I’ll reply to you obviously – but no work."
Chloe took part in the latest series of ‘Celebs Go Dating’ but shocked her co-stars when she turned up without any clothes on to film her online therapy sessions.
Dating guru Paul C Brunson recently said: "She came on wearing no clothes, talked about watching pornography, she was talking about sexual positions!
"She even showed up for a date with no underwear on!"
The new series of the show is being shot amid social distancing restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic.
