Lord Alan Sugar is set to travel to Australia for ‘The Celebrity Apprentice Australia’.

The 73-year-old business magnate will head Down Under to act as CEO as each episode features two teams of celebrities using their knowledge, creativity, charm and famous friends in the hope of winning that week’s task to earn some cash for their chosen charities.

The first three celebrities up for the task are personal trainer and author Michelle Bridges, Nova FM’s Michael "Wippa" Wipfli, and Olympic gymnast Olivia Vivian.

Each week, Lord Sugar and his two trusted advisers will eliminate the celebrities one by one with his signature phrase, "You’re fired".

Meanwhile, the boss and his two UK co-stars – Karren Brady and Claude Littner – will take part in a six episode series of ‘The Apprentice Best Bits’, which will look back at the most memorable moments from the last 15 series of the business competition.

Commenting on the new BBC One programme, he said: "It has been very enjoyable recapping the series’ so far and watching how ‘The Apprentice’ has evolved over the years, going from strength to strength.

"There have been some outstanding characters and great moments from across the series’ and this Best Bits show is a testament to that. Long may it continue."

Cal Turner, Head of Popular Factual at Boundless, shared: "There have been so many classic moments from across the fifteen years of ‘The Apprentice’ that we were spoilt for choice when selecting the very best bits!

"As usual, there will be laughter, tears and a few classic boardroom moments, this time with an added dose of welcome nostalgia."
