Marcel Somerville has announced his engagement to Rebecca Vieira.
The former ‘Love Island’ star asked his pregnant partner to marry him after the loved-up couple discovered they’re set to welcome a baby boy.
In a video clip on OK! magazine’s Instagram live, Marcel said: "It’s our gender reveal, we’re about to find out if we’re having a boy or a girl …"
The duo subsequently brought out poppers to reveal blue confetti, confirming they’re set to have a baby boy.
And then, Marcel got down on one knee to propose to Rebecca, who was visibly shocked by the TV star.
A source close to the couple told OK! Online: "Marcel didn’t tell anyone that he was going to propose, even his best friends, he did not tell anyone that he was planning it so it was a whole surprise for everyone.
"Rebecca cried and everyone at the party was crying, it was really emotional and every one was super happy."
Last month, Marcel insisted he will "definitely" get married one day.
The former Blazin’ Squad star revealed he couldn’t wait to tie the knot with Rebecca, saying he already had "plans" in place.
Asked if he was planning to walk down the aisle, Marcel – who appeared on ‘Love Island’ back in 2017 – shared: "A million per cent. I don’t want to give too much away, I’ve got certain plans.
"I know this is the woman I’m going to spend the rest of my life with. There will definitely be wedding bells."
