Lady Colin Campbell for Strictly?

Lady Colin Campbell would be up for doing ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.

The 70-year-old author and reality star has said she’d like to sign up for the BBC One Latin and ballroom contest to use her paycheque to help with the expensive maintenance costs of her lavish home, Castle Goring.

The former ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ star told the Express: "I will consider anything that pays enough to assist with the running of Castle Goring.

"I make no bones about it. I do all the public appearances, I do them purely for Castle Goring.

That’s why I say I’m, ‘Whoring for Goring’ because if it wasn’t for Goring, you wouldn’t see me for dust except when I write a book.

"I keep my private life, private, and always have."

Lady C – who has also appeared on ‘Celebs Go Dating’ – is the latest star to hint at taking part in ‘Strictly’.

Scarlett Moffatt recently admitted she would "love" to take part and refused to rule out a possible appearance, saying she’ll dance on TikTok if it doesn’t happen.

Asked about the recent rumours, Scarlett replied: "I love ‘Strictly’.

"But [if it doesn’t happen] I’ll just be there on TikTok making me own cha-cha-cha dance moves!"

The former ‘Gogglebox’ star was a talented dancer during her younger years, and has previously admitted she’s open to competing on the show.

Speaking earlier this year, she shared: "I’m not exclusive to ITV, so I can do what I want. I’ve always loved ‘Strictly’."

‘Strictly’ bosses have devised "hundreds" of potential formats for this year’s show in case regulations change amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The BBC recently confirmed the competition is to take place this year with a slightly shorter run than usual, and it has now been revealed "big decisions" are being "left to the last minute" so producers know what the latest guidelines are.

A BBC source said: "Preparing for this year’s show is a huge headache. The goalposts keep moving, so the big decisions are being left to the last minute so we’re as up to date as possible.

"But any concrete things we can decide on now, we are doing. Making one hit series is hard enough. As things stand, we are having to plan for hundreds.

"The slightest change to the rules could have a massive impact on how the show is filmed.

"But everyone is determined to get this thing on screen and in a way that is as close to the normal version as possible."

It was recently confirmed the professional dancers will isolate in a hotel for four weeks to rehearse their group dances, and it is now said the show might take place without an audience and there is expected to be fewer security guards on the set.
