Johnny Vaughan’s partner gives birth to a baby boy

Johnny Vaughan’s partner Vanessa Howard had given birth to a baby boy.

The 54-year-old star has taken to his Instagram account to announce the arrival of Milton Vaughan, posting a picture of himself alongside his son, and saying he’s "too proud for words".

Johnny – who previously hosted ‘The Big Breakfast’ on Channel 4 – captioned the image: "Welcome to the World Milton Vaughan. Too proud for words. Thanks to staff of Chelsea and Westminster for an immaculate delivery and @vanessah50 for being beautiful and awesome. Wow! Just a Wow. (sic)"

Johnny – who already has Tabitha, 20, and Rafferty, 17, with ex-wife Antonia Davies – had remained tight-lipped about Vanessa’s pregnancy right up until the birth.

And some of his celebrity friends were also clearly caught off guard by the announcement.

Kelly Brook – who previously co-hosted ‘The Big Breakfast’ alongside Johnny – replied: "Woww!!! (sic)"

Jeremy Clarkson was more blunt in his response to Johnny’s initial post, suggesting he had no idea Vanessa was pregnant.

The ‘Grand Tour’ host – who is known for being outspoken – simply said: "What?"

However, fellow presenter Jamie Theakston was more enthusiastic about Johnny’s baby news.

The former ‘Live & Kicking’ star said: "Mucho Congrats JV (sic)"

Johnny split from Antonia in 2013, and prior to meeting Vanessa, he was struggling to find love.

The presenter – who first met Vanessa, 37, through mutual friends – said a few years ago: "I’m finding it very hard, to be honest. I’ve struggled.

"I’ve been on a few dates but I don’t know what to say."
