Dr Alex George faces ‘hardest times’ after brother’s sudden death

Dr. Alex George is facing the "hardest times" following the death of his younger brother.

The 30-year-old reality star lost his sibling Llŷr on Friday (24.07.20) after he suffered with his mental health, and despite dark times, Alex has now vowed to find strength for his family and friends.

He wrote on his Instagram Stories: "These are the hardest times I could ever have imagined. The kindness and love our family has received has been incredible and I am so grateful.

"In the darkest times we must pick ourselves up, find strength and be there for our family and friends. That is exactly what I’ll do."

The former ‘Love Island’ star revealed the devastating news on Instagram, sharing a picture of himself and his sibling Llŷr.

He wrote: "I can’t believe I am actually writing this post. I have lost my beautiful little brother to mental health. I love you so much Llŷr. The kindest and most caring soul. I was so proud of you starting medical school next month, you would have been the most incredible doctor. We are hurting so bad. No words can explain. As a family we are devastated. We love you and miss you so much. Please rest in peace x Our boy. (sic)"

Messages flooded in on his page, with Dani Dyer writing: "So so sorry alex. sending you so much love xx, (sic)", and Megan Barton Hanson adding: "Alex I’m so sorry for yours and your families loss. I can’t put into words how heartbreaking this news is. I’m always here if you need me. Sending love. (sic)"

Maura Higgins posted: "So sorry for your loss. thinking of you and your family," Wes Nelson said: "So sorry to hear this Alex! Stay strong I love you mate!, and Alexandra Cane wrote: "I’m so sorry Alex. My deepest condolences are with you and your family. (sic)"

And Alex later posted on his Instagram Stories: "Thank you for all the messages of kindness here and to my phone. I am incredibly grateful of the support and it means so much. I am sorry that I can’t reply yet. I need to try and process what has happened somehow. (sic)"
