Jasmine Armfield pays sweet tribute to boyfriend after 2 years together

Jasmine Armfield has paid tribute to her boyfriend as the couple celebrated two years together.

The former ‘EastEnders’ actress – who played Bex Fowler on the BBC One soap – took to Instagram to tell her boyfriend Romell Henry that she loves him "so much" and has spent an incredible two years with him.

She wrote: "Happy 2 years to my boo. I love you sooooooooooooo much. Words can’t describe the 2 years I’ve had with you.

"I can’t wait for many more, living life. (sic)"

Jasmine made her final appearance on the soap in March, after announcing in January this year she was departing the programme.

She said: "I’ve had such a fantastic time playing Bex Fowler and loved being part of ‘EastEnders’ but now feels like the right time to try something new.

"I’ve made friends for life working on the show and shall miss them all."

Jon Sen, EastEnders’ Executive Producer, praised Jasmine for bringing something "incredibly special" to the part of Bex, the daughter of Martin (James Bye) and Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy).

He said: "It’s been an absolute pleasure to work with Jasmine.

"She’s brought something incredibly special to the role of Bex and we will all miss her – both as a friend and colleague. We wish her the best of luck for the future."

The star played Bex from 2014 to 2020 and was involved in several big storylines, including one which saw the character attempt to take her own life.

Jasmine’s announcement came just weeks after her friend Tilly Keeper, who played Bex’s best pal Louise Mitchell, departed Albert Square.
