Jess Gale says Love Island contestants are kidded by ‘bubble’ environment

Jess Gale thinks the ‘Love Island’ "bubble" encourages contestants to believe they’ve found their ideal partner.

The blonde beauty dated Ched Uzor during and after her time on the ITV show, but Jess admitted that cracks started to emerge in their romance after they left the villa.

Reflecting on her ‘Love Island’ experience, Jess shared: "Ched and me grew apart – after you come out of the bubble being in the villa

you realise what you have in common.

"It’s not good to force a relationship otherwise don’t be in one."

Jess and Ched found it tough to sustain their romance in the aftermath of appearing on the show.

In an interview with Simon Gross for Get Gossy with Grossy, she explained: "We both went our own separate ways – there is only so much texting you can both can do."

Jess thinks it would be impossible for her and Ched to reignite their romance again in the future.

But in spite of their split, they remain good friends.

Jess – who appeared on the show alongside her twin Eve – said: "There is no going back we tried it didn’t work we are both still friends I don’t regret choosing Ched."

Jess and Ched confirmed their split back in May, after three months of dating.

The TV stars revealed they called it quits during lockdown as it was impossible to "build a relationship".

Ched said: "We came out, as you can imagine we had interviews together up and down. We were in London, we were in Manchester. So I spent two weeks with her.

"Then I came home and then the following Monday we got locked down. So she was in lockdown with her sisters and I was in Suffolk at home with my family. So we haven’t seen each other really."
