Blake Harrison still gets Inbetweeners lines shouted at him

Blake Harrison still gets "bus w*****" shouted at him.

The 34-year-old actor previously starred as Neil Sutherland in ‘The Inbetweeners’ and he’s admitted that one of the sitcom’s most well-known lines still follows him around.

Blake – who appeared in three series of the sitcom, as well as two subsequent movies – told The Sun newspaper: "I do get stuff, like people shouting ‘Bus w****er’. They think it’s funny and to them it is because it’s the first time they’ve had that experience.

"But for me it’s the 1,000th time. The novelty has worn off."

Blake made the comments shortly after the creators of the show, Iain Morris and Damon Beesley, hinted at making a new series with the original cast.

Iain shared: "I love everybody involved in it so much, and we all still talk, and we’ve got a hilarious WhatsApp group.

"And, you know, I can’t imagine not doing something with them ever again. I don’t know if it would be ‘The Inbetweeners’."

The creative duo haven’t had any "brilliant ideas" for the characters, but they think it would be easy to film once they have a script.

Damon explained: "If we could think of something and thought, ‘Oh, that’s a brilliant idea for those four characters!’ I think it would be the easiest thing in the world to just go back there and do it."

However, Simon Bird – who played geeky Will MacKenzie – recently insisted an ‘Inbetweeners’ reunion will "never" happen.

The actor doesn’t believe a comeback could work with the original cast, as they are too old for the crude gags that made the show so popular.

He said: "I think the reason that show worked is because the characters are kids, so they could say the terrible, awful things they said.

"Whereas if the characters were in their mid to late thirties, it’s slightly different!"
