Chloe Ferry and Pete Wicks sign up for Celebs Go Dating

Chloe Ferry and Pete Wicks are among the stars who have been confirmed for the new, socially-distanced, edition of ‘Celebs Go Dating’.

Pete, 31 is back on the reality programme for another dip in the dating pool after he first took part in the E4 show in 2019, but he didn’t discover everlasting love.

Bosses announced the full line up on Twitter, revealing ‘Geordie Shore’ star Chloe, Love Island’s Shaughna Phillips, and rugby player Levi Davis will take part in the new series, which will launch on July 27th.

A tweet on the ‘Celebs Go Dating’ account read: "We can finally reveal the Celebs for #CelebsGoVirtualDating are @Shaughna_P, @thelelife, @Chloe_GShore & @P_Wicks01 – everyone deserves an extra chance at love, right!? Who’s excited!? Returning July 27th on @E4tweets"

One fan was a little disappointed to see ‘TOWIE’ star Pete was making a return to the dating agency, writing: "Wicks again?"

But they replied: "He just needs a helping hand"

The new series of ‘Celebs Go Dating’ will see gurus Paul C Brunson and Anna Williamson try to find celebrity singletons the perfect match by sending the stars on socially-distanced dates.

The celebrities will be sent off on a series of dates, either on a video call or outside while adhering to social distancing rules.

Paul and Anna will be joined by junior client coordinator and celeb confidante, Tom Read Wilson, as well as witty narrator Rob Beckett to help the celebrities find their dream date.

Anna said: "I’m so excited to get the agency back up and running. We are really intrigued to see what dating looks like during this time, and looking forward to seeing how our date-ees handle dating in lockdown."

However, the new series will be reduced from an hour to just 30 minutes over five episodes instead of the usual 20.
