Emma Willis and Dermot O’Leary join Big Brother spin-off

Emma Willis will be a special guest on ‘Big Brother: Best Shows Ever’.

The 44-year-old television presenter – who hosted the reality show on Channel 5 from 2013 to 2018 – will make a guest appearance on the upcoming spin-off which will celebrate the series’ 20th anniversary by looking at some of the most memorable episodes.

She said: "It’s no secret that I’m a mega fan of the show so it was so fun to reminisce about all of the incredible moments from BB over the years."

‘Big Brother: Best Shows Ever’ will be hosted by original host Davina McCall – who presented the show on Channel 4 from 2000 to 2010 – and ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ series 11 winner Rylan Clark-Neal as they discuss their favourite episodes and memories of the long-running show.

The duo will welcome Emma onto the show on June 14, while they will also be joined by Dermot O’Leary – who hosted ‘Big Brother’s companion show on Channel 4, ‘Big Brother’s Little Brother’ from 2001 to 2008 – during the same episode as they all share their best bits virtually during lockdown.

He added: "Just under 20 years ago I started working on a show named ‘Big Brother’.

"20 years on, it’s still one of the most talked about reality shows of all time, and I’m so excited to take a walk down memory lane and come together with Davina, Rylan and Emma to reminisce."

As well as their initial appearance, Emma and Dermot will also contribute to episodes across the series.

Davina previously announced the news that the much-loved show would be returning to television screens, and she couldn’t wait to share it with a "whole new audience".

She said in a statement: "I love the show with all of my heart and can’t wait to share it with a whole new audience. And of course, all you diehard fans out there…It’s good to be back. Big Brother’s missed you."
