Miranda Lambert enjoys leading a "normal" life.
The country music star and husband Blake Shelton live in Tishomingo, a small town in Oklahoma when not working, and the 30-year-old singer – who starts her days by looking after her animals – loves the "slow" pace out of the spotlight.
She said: "I love the slow pace, the normalcy that it gives me."
The ‘Automatic’ singer was previously known for being outspoken, but is happy she has now "calmed down" and is able to show new sides to her personality.
Speaking to the new issue of Billboard magazine, she said: "With success, I’ve been able to sort of calm that down and go, ‘OK, I don’t have to be guns a-blazin’ all the time. People are listening, so I can open up my softer side and show people who the whole Miranda is.’
"I have this other side. I love pink and puppies, too."
However, Miranda insists she isn’t afraid to still speak her mind.
She added: "That is who I am. I’m just a Texas girl that speaks her mind, and sometimes that gets me in trouble."
Miranda and Blake – who married in 2011 – have been subjected to many rumours about their romance, but they just laugh off the constant speculation.
She joked: "I think I’ve had like five sets of twins in the last two years, and we’ve been divorced four times, and one of us had a $100 million divorce."
