Maura Higgins reveals results of her fitness regime

Maura Higgins is thrilled with the results of her new fitness regime.

The 29-year-old TV star has taken to social media to reveal the impact of her home workout routines, posting an image of her toned figure on Instagram.

The brunette beauty – who starred on ‘Love Island’ in 2019 – wrote on the photo-sharing platform: "Going into week seven. Hard work is paying off!"

Despite her enviable figure, Maura stressed that she’s not exactly a fitness expert.

She also thanked her social media followers for their positive feedback.

Maura wrote: "By no means am I qualified with fitness but what I have been doing has 100 per cent worked for me.

"Thank you for your amazing comments on my progress. (sic)"

Earlier this month, Maura urged her social media followers to just "let things go".

The TV star posted a makeup-free picture of herself on Instagram to mark Mental Illness Awareness Week, encouraging her followers to ignore online trolls and stop comparing themselves to others.

Alongside her selfie, Maura wrote: "So many of us hide behind filters & I am not going to come on here and lie…I am one of them BUT don’t do it to impress others…do it for yourself, just like everything else in life. DO YOU!!! Stop comparing yourself to others. We are all human, we all have our bad days, bad photos, bad angles etc. I want to let every person reading this know that NOBODY IS PERFECT. (sic)"

Maura urged people to ignore outside influences and to instead focus on mental and physical well-being.

She wrote: "Those people being nasty or behind their keyboards are far from perfect too! Focus on you, your mental health & your well being physically and mentally. And if there’s times you are struggling, don’t suffer in silence, please talk to someone [love heart emoji] (sic)"
