Top Gear set to resume filming in June

‘Top Gear’ is set to resume filming in June.
The hit motoring show – which is presented by Chris Harris, Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff and Paddy McGuinness – will go back into production next month, having been on hold since March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The programme will use "strictly limited" crews and adhere to government guidelines when it resumes filming, according to the BBC.
Charlotte Moore, the broadcaster’s director of content, shared: "We’re also exploring ways to re-start filming on more dramas and other major BBC shows as soon as possible."
She said the broadcaster – which has also given ‘EastEnders’ the green light to resume filming in June – hopes to "help fire up the engines of British TV production – safely and sensibly".
Writing in the Daily Telegraph, she explained: "We’ve been looking very carefully at how we can safely put some of our shows back into production, and I’m pleased to announce that we plan to begin filming again on both ‘EastEnders’ and ‘Top Gear’ by the end of next month."
Meanwhile, Flintoff previously admitted he’s still not sure what he’s doing in front of the camera, having moved into the TV industry after retiring from cricket.
The 42-year-old former England star confessed: "I finished playing cricket at 31, and all I ever wanted to be was a cricketer.
"Then I’ve stumbled into TV presenting, and, I’ll be honest with you, I’m not quite sure what I’m doing!
"I just turn up and just do whatever. I think I’m going to get found out every day!"
