Brassic hired real-life strippers for season two

‘Brassic’ bosses hired real-life strippers to perform in the second series.
The Sky One comedy show – which stars Ryan Sampson and Michelle Keegan – sees Tommo buy a strip club in an attempt to become the UK’s Hugh Hefner, but TV bosses thought it would be more authentic to bring in real-life strippers for scenes filmed inside the new joint.
Ryan joked: "There were boobs everywhere! On the first day, we didn’t know where to look!"
The series follows a group of friends, including Tommo, single mum Erin (Keegan), her on-off boyfriend Dylan (Damien Molony), and Joe Gilgun as their leader, as they get up to no good to keep money in their pockets.
Season one saw Tommo running a sex dungeon, but now the sex-obsessed entrepreneur has swapped his dungeon for the new establishment, called The Rat & Cutter Gentleman’s Club, in a bid to build the next Playboy empire.
Ryan told the Daily Star newspaper: "The sex dungeon isn’t featured very much because he’s opened a new venture! The strip club market! He sees himself as Manchester’s version of Hugh Hefner and wants his club to be a Playboy mansion.
"He becomes obsessed with these kinky tables based on real erotic furniture that Marie Antoinette had. There’s some resplendent willy-shaped side tables. The strip club’s going to become a very classy establishment."
Meanwhile, Damien has admitted he’d love to shoot the third series of the show in Benidorm.
The actor revealed that he and his castmates find themselves craving sunshine when they’re on-set in Manchester.
He shared: "When it’s 3am and we’re in the middle of a thunderstorm and it’s freezing, we all say: ‘We love Manchester but a little bit of sunshine would be amazing, right?’
"It would be pretty epic if they went on a gang holiday and it all went wrong. So can we go to Benidorm?"
