Oti Mabuse lands CBeebies show

Oti Mabuse has landed her own CBeebies show ‘Boogie Beebies’ during lockdown.
The 29-year-old professional dancer will be quick-stepping onto children’s television screens to teach them a new dance over five 25-minute episodes while schools are closed, following the government’s lockdown rules during the coronavirus crisis.
Cheryl Taylor, Head of Content for BBC Children’s, said: "The BBC’s mission to inform, educate and entertain has never been more relevant than it is now.
"BBC Children’s is here to support parents and reflect the lives of children all around the country in these difficult times – we will ensure that despite the huge changes to their lives we are always here to give them a voice."
A host of famous faces have joined the broadcaster to entertain and educate children during this unprecedented time.
CBBC have signed up various celebrities to host ‘My Celebrity Supply Teacher’ to teach topics based on the curriculum.
Fan favourites, including Mr Tumble/ Justin Fletcher, Nikki Lilly, Maggie Adherin Pocock, Mr Maker, Steve Backshall, the ‘Baby Club’ team and Andy Day will be returning for a variety of fun-filled activities.
It comes shortly after it was revealed Tom Hardy will be returning to ‘CBeebies Bedtime Stories’ for a whole week after first appearing in 2016.
The ‘Peaky Blinders’ actor was a huge hit with young audiences, with more than a million watching his storytelling sessions via BBC iPlayer, and he has returned for ‘Tom’s Week’ to keep the little ones and their parents entertained during the coronavirus lockdown.
The ‘Dunkirk’ star kicked off on Monday (27.04.20), when he was joined by his French bulldog, Blue, to read ‘Hug Me’ by Simona Ciraolo.
