Kevin Clifton wants to write his own play

Kevin Clifton wants to write his own stage production.
The former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ pro has been watching live theatre streams online during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, and revealed he’s been inspired to channel some of his own ideas for a potential project.
Speaking on ‘The Kevin Clifton Show’ podcast, he said: "I have been watching a lot of the streams of theatre online.
"I have been having a lot more creative ideas so I have started writing a play."
The 37-year-old star hinted his passion could lie more with the written word than with dancing at this point, and he’s already taking classes to develop his skills.
He added: "Maybe that is more truthful to my set of values and what I want to do with my life…
"I have done an online writing course. I have been writing some of my own stories. Potentially that could end being a biography of sorts."
Kevin recently hinted at another move away from the ballroom as he admitted he would love to work for WWE one day.
He is an avid wrestling fan, and while he’d be "a bit scared" to get into the ring himself, he wants to be involved in some away in the future.
Kevin recently told Metro.co.uk: "Oh yeah, definitely. I’d love it, but to do some of the real physical stuff, I’m probably a bit scared.
"I’ll never be a wrestler – it’s too late, I’m 37, and also I’m not built for it [laughs]. There’s always that thing – I’ve said to Stace a couple of times, I feel like one day I will work in the wrestling business somewhere.
"I don’t know where or how, or in what capacity, but I feel like it’s such a passion for me that I can’t not do it. There’ll be something at some point."
