Tamzin Outhwaite pays tribute to her mum 2 years on from her passing

Tamzin Outhwaite has paid a heartfelt tribute to her mum, two years after her death.
The former ‘EastEnders’ actress took to Instagram to remember her mother, Anna, following her passing two years ago, and admitted she was "lucky" to grow up with her mum as her "guide".
She wrote: "Two years ago today we lost you…mum you have no idea how much you are missed. How many lives you touched and how proud I am of you. You have taught me so much and I strive to be like you mum… what a lucky girl I was growing up with you as my guide. (sic)"
Tamzin admitted she and her daughters – Florence, 11, and seven-year-old Marnie – still talk about her mother on a daily basis.
She added: "My gorgeous girls and I talk about you daily. Your lipstick, coconut oil and Milly molly Mandy books. You will never be forgotten (sic)"
Tamzin’s tribute comes after she recently admitted she went through a "grieving process" when her ‘EastEnders’ character Mel Owen was killed off.
Asked whether she was concerned she may never work again after leaving the show, she said: "Yes, of course.
"I’m normally quite good at being out of work, but saying goodbye to a character like that … I had a bit of a grieving process.
"Because it was 1998 when I started so it was like, ‘Now what do I do?’ It felt like I was saying goodbye to something much bigger.
"What you realise is you’re clearing the way for other things.
"And you can’t move forward until you close some doors."
In October, Tamzin admitted her mum had tried to talk her out of reprising her role as Mel.
She said: "Executive consultant John Yorke approached me and said, ”EastEnders’ is at its best when there are strong female characters on the Square,’ and he wanted Mel back.
"I thought it was a great idea but my mum initially tried to talk me out of it.
"She said, ‘Why go backwards?’ She was trying to protect the career I’d built up since leaving.
"But I’m a single mum with bills to pay, and I felt Mel had more to give and viewers do seem to like her."
