AJ Pritchard thinks he’d be ‘hilarious’ on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here

AJ Pritchard thinks ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’ viewers would find him "hilarious".
The former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ star is rumoured to have been lined up for the ITV reality show, and believes his "screaming" response to discovering spiders in his loft recently proves just how amusing it would be if he were to come face-to-face with creepy crawlies on one of the Australian jungle-based show’s Bushtucker Trials.
Appearing from home on Steph McGovern’s Channel 4 programme ‘The Steph Show’, the 25-year-old pro dancer said: "Well, let me put it like this, I’ve just cleaned out the loft as my mum has a list of jobs for us to do.
"The amount of spiders up there, I was screaming my head off. So, if anything like that did happen, it would be hilarious – that’s for sure."
His brother, ‘Love Island’ star Curtis Pritchard, 24, also joked about wanting to watch his older sibling to appear on ‘I’m A Celebrity’.
He said: "I would love to see AJ in a coffin, well not like that, I meant surrounded by animals, in a confined space doing a trial."
AJ announced recently he was quitting ‘Strictly’ following four years on the programme, and he and Curtis would love to turn their hands to presenting and follow in the footsteps of ‘I’m A Celebrity’ co-hosts Ant and Dec.
He said: "We would love to be that presenting duo, like them.
"We want to bring our brand, that all-singing, all-dancing Saturday night style of family entertainment, a bit like Bruce Forsyth.
"’Strictly’ took up six months of my life, some days I would work 18-hour days because I was dancing and choreographing. I didn’t have a life and I wanted to be able to do more."
