Kym Marsh believes she has psychic powers

Former ‘Coronation Street’ actress Kym Marsh believes she has developed psychic powers since being in lockdown at her house due to the coronavirus crisis.
The 43-year-old actress is isolating with her eight-year-old daughter Polly, 24-year-old son David and his girlfriend at her house since the UK government advised citizens to stay at home to stop the spread of the potentially fatal respiratory illness.
Since being separated from her other daughter Emilie and her 11-month-old grandson Teddy, Kym has started to have very vivid dreams about events that she has then discovered to have actually happened when she has woken up.
Writing in her column in the new issue of OK! magazine about her premonitions, she revealed: "I’ve been having such vivid dreams recently, it’s spooky. The other night I dreamt that someone was telling me the front gate was open at my house. It woke me up and I felt a little creeped out. The next morning when I was making my coffee, David’s girlfriend told me the gate was actually open. We never keep it open because we have dogs so we couldn’t figure out what happened.
"More recently, I woke up in the middle of the night convinced I could hear my daughter Emilie calling for me. She doesn’t live with me so I knew I was dreaming. The next morning she told me that she’d fainted in the middle of the night. She’d forgotten to kiss Teddy goodnight so rushed downstairs too quickly. It was so bizarre. Like I subconsciously knew something was wrong. Maybe I have psychic powers now?"
Kym admits she has found it difficult to not be allowed to go and visit her parents or her daughter Emilie and her grandson during isolation, and she has also been told that her soldier boyfriend Scott Ratcliff will be away on active service with the army longer than was initially intended.
The former Hear’Say singer has even been dreaming about "hugging people" because she misses "human contact" with the loved-ones she is apart from.
She said: "Like many people, I’m finding this isolation has good days and bad. It’s so hard for me to be away from the people I love, like my daughter Emilie, my grandson Teddy and my parents. My partner Scott is also with the army and his return date will be much later than thought, which doesn’t make things easier. We’re so lucky to have FaceTime, but I still miss that human affection.
"My son David drove by Emilie’s house and Teddy was holding his arms out for him and crying. It’s so hard to be near family and not be able to touch them, I even have dreams about hugging people!
"Still we’ve been trying to keep busy. I’ve been helping my daughter Polly out with her schoolwork. We’ve all been pulling together in our household, too. David’s girlfriend made the decision to move in with us during isolation so they could be together and it’s lovely to have another woman in the house. David has done lots of cooking for us; we’ve all been tidying and cleaning loads, too."
