Coronation Street’s Jack P. Shepherd is champion dominoes player

Jack P. Shepherd is a champion dominoes player.
The ‘Coronation Street’ star – who has played David Platt on the ITV show since 2000 – has revealed his secret talent, and admitted he’s been part of a league for around a decade.
He’s quoted by The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column as saying: "I play dominoes. I’m in a league. I’ve been doing that for about 10 years now.
"I’m very good. We have two chances to win titles a year and in 10 years I’ve won six."
Jack knows how to unwind after tough days on set, and he previously revealed the ‘Corrie’ cast make sure to relax in between takes.
Earlier this month, he opened up about filming Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) and Adam Barlow’s (Sam Robertson) wedding, and how tough they can be.
Shooting soap wedding scenes can often mean long days, and stars usually have to read books, eat sweets and browse social media to keep themselves amused.
However, for the most recent cobbles nuptials, it appears Simon Gregson – who plays Steve McDonald – took a laser quest game onto the set and challenged Colson Smith (Craig Tinker) to a game.
Jack said: "There’s a lot of people with books, a lot of people asleep, on iPads, people bring sweets and chocolate biscuits.
"Si Gregson has brought in laser quest. That’s good."
He also joked he had to boot co-star Tina out of the Platts WhatsApp group chat after filming the wedding scenes.
Jack teased: "We have a Platts WhatsApp group. I’ve binned her from the group because she’s no longer a Platt."
