Tom Cruise’s Edge of Tomorrow set for three premieres, one day

Tom Cruise will hit the red carpet in London, Paris and New York for the ‘Edge of Tomorrow’ premiere on the same day.

The Hollywood hunk will join his co-stars on May 28 as they race against the clock to touch town in all the three countries within 24 hours, with the event kicking off in England’s capital at 7.00am and wrapping up in the Big Apple with the screening scheduled for 11.59pm.

The Doug Liman-directed film is set in the near future where an alien race has hit the Earth in an unrelenting assault and follows the character of Major William Cage (Cruise) when he is unceremoniously dropped into what amounts to a suicide mission.

Christopher McQuarrie, Jez Butterworth and John-Henry Butterworth penned the script which is based on the novel ‘All You Need is Kill’ by Hiroshi Sakurazaka.

Erwin Stoff produced, along with Tom Lassally, Jeffrey Silver, Gregory Jacobs and Jason Hoffs.

While Liman, David Bartis, Joby Harold, Hidemi Fukuhara and Bruce Berman, with Tim Lewis and Kim Winther serving as co-producers.
