Bradley Walsh quits Doctor Who

Bradley Walsh is quitting ‘Doctor Who’ after two years on the show.
The 59-year-old actor – who had played Graham since 2018 – is set to leave after this year’s festive special alongside co-star Tosin Cole (Ryan) as Jodie Whittaker’s Time Lord faces the fearsome Daleks.
An insider told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Two years is a long time in the world of ‘Doctor Who’. Yaz will be back but Christmas will be the last outing for Ryan and Graham."
Mandip Gill’s policewoman Yaz looks set to return, with Jodie already confirmed to be back as the Doctor for a third season.
The exit storyline for Graham and Ryan is being kept under wraps ahead of the sci-fi favourite’s seasonal special at the end of 2020.
Reports of Bradley’s exit comes after the ‘Chase’ host admitted the filming schedule can be very gruelling.
He explained: "We have great fun doing it. But you must sleep and look after yourself, because if you don’t, you will come unstuck.
"This is 10 months of ramming speed. That’s what it is. I’m in my 60th year. It’s tough. It’s hard. It’s relentless. It really is. This ain’t an easy gig."
Although firm details will stay a secret ahead of the show’s return – after the 12th series concluded on Sunday (01.03.20), showrunner Chris Chibnall revealed the festive episode will be titled ‘Revolution of the Daleks’.
He teased: "We can’t leave the Doctor there! On that cliffhanger! Well, we did. But rest assured, the Doctor and her friends will be back for a one-off extended Special around Christmas and New Year.
"I don’t know when they’re going to put it on yet, otherwise we’d tell you!
"There will be Daleks. There will be exterminations. Thrills, laughter, tears. You know. The usual. See you at the end of the year."
