Little Mix cry during The Search filming

Little Mix cried after eliminating singers from ‘The Search’.
The ‘Shout Out To My Ex’ hitmakers are currently filming for their new BBC One singing competition, and during Friday’s (28.02.20) session they had to send contestants from each of the six remaining bands home before the show moves onto the live finals.
Jesy Nelson and Jade Thirlwall were said to be in tears after sending two hopefuls home and had to be comforted by bandmates Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards, according to The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column.
An audience member said: "The girls have invested a lot in the people taking part in the show and feel attached to all of them. So to have to start waving goodbye to some of the acts was really difficult.
"Some of the singers got upset and that set off Jesy and Jade. It’s the hardest part of the show so far and it was a highly emotional night.
"Jesy and Jade both had tears streaming down their faces. It’s clear the show means so much to them and they really care for their acts."
The pre-recorded auditions will air in April, with four live shows set for prime-time Saturday night slots in May.
The winning group will get to work with Little Mix and top producers from the industry, as well as joining the ‘Black Magic’ singers – who formed on ‘The X Factor’ and won the competition in 2011 – on their upcoming summer tour.
Previously, Jesy admitted the band were keen to discover "something really different".
She said: "We just want to find something really different. I mean, ideally, we’d like to find another…I’d like to find a mixed group, or a boy group."
But above all else, the ‘Odd One Out’ star is particularly keen to find someone who has everything they need to become a mega star.
She added: "But just, for me personally, I want to find someone who can dance, sing, the full shebang, the full package."
