Joel Dommett’s Masked Singer fears

Joel Dommett fears being axed from ‘The Masked Singer’.
The 34-year-old TV presenter admitted he is worried about keeping his role on the show because he is scared he will reveal the secret identities of the contestants.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "The prospect of not being asked back for series two because I had told everybody who Queen Bee is, is enough of a scare not to tell anybody."
And he revealed that the show has a number of famous fans.
Joel explained: "We were at the National Television Awards and Rob Brydon went, ‘Queen Bee is definitely…’ I can’t remember the name he said, but it was wrong. I went, ‘Ah, really? That’s interesting’, and he went, ‘I bet my house on it’.
"We shook on it and I think I own Rob Brydon’s house now."
Queen Bee joins Octopus and Hedgehog in the final of the show on Saturday (15.02.20) and Joel admitted even he was surprised by Octopus’ real identity.
He said: "I was so in the dark about Octopus. When it’s revealed it’s amazing. It’s not who I thought at all.
"She [Octopus] always really holds my hand when the results are happening, it’s so sweet. When you find out who it is I’m like, ‘Oh my God – that’s who’s been holding my hand for eight weeks’. I feel like Octopus is the one that has thrown everyone.
"Their costume was the heaviest. At the start she could only do 15-minute sessions in it and then after the first episode they added in wheels on the bottom. After that she was rolling around having a great time."
