Bill Turnbull to guest co-host Good Morning Britain

Bill Turnbull will step in for Piers Morgan on ‘Good Morning Britain’ later this month.
The 64-year-old TV presenter will reunite with his former ‘BBC Breakfast’ co-host Susanna Reid on the show when her fellow presenter Piers takes some time off.
He said: "I’m thrilled to be working with Susanna again and really looking forward to being on ‘Good Morning Britain’.
"We didn’t work together long enough and we got on so well. I was sad when she left at short notice. So for her to ask me to sit alongside her is very exciting."
Bill will join forces with Susanna – who he worked alongside on ‘BBC Breakfast’ until she departed for ITV in 2014 – on ‘GMB’ for three days in the week commencing February 24th.
But the star – who has been fighting prostate cancer – admits he had reservations about the early starts after saying he would never do breakfast TV again when he quit ‘BBC Breakfast’ in 2016.
He added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I’m in two minds about the early mornings. On one hand, it’s great to be back doing live television.
"The other part of me thinks, ‘What on earth am I doing?’ Having sworn never to do breakfast television again!
"But here I am doing it and it’s only in the short term."
Bill appeared as a guest on ‘GMB’ in November 2016, and before his chat with Piers and Susanna he sat next to her before Piers had made it into the studio.
Piers then arrived and sat in between the pair, before jokingly branding Bill "overrated".
Bill recently tried out some different products derived from cannabis for a Channel 4 documentary, ‘Bill Turnbull: Staying Alive’, and later revealed he hopes politicians will consider its health benefits.
He said: "It’s such a dark area, unlit area, that needs a lot more examination. We need to have a proper conversation in this country about the use of cannabis for medicinal purposes, because it is legal for medicinal purposes in more than 20 countries – intelligent, advanced countries – and we should be one of them.
"We have something which has been used for medicinal purposes for centuries, and it’s only been illegal for about 100 years.
"I’m not talking about recreational use, simply for medicinal reasons."
