Love Island’s Amy Hart: Casa Amor is mentally torturous

Amy Hart says Love Island’s Casa Amor is "mentally torturous".
The 27-year-old star has opened up about the second villa – where the girls were sent in her series – as 12 new contestants have arrived on the ITV2 show, with the current lads heading to Casa Amor, where they were joined by six new girls, and the current ladies were joined by six new guys in the main villa.
But Amy admits she found it "pure hell" not knowing what was going on back in the main villa during her stint on the programme last year.
She wrote on Twitter: "Casa Amor is literally mentally torturous when it all kicks off.
"When you get back it is a totally different ball game, but not knowing what’s going on is pure hell. Sending so much love to the gals."
The blonde beauty – who quit the ITV2 dating show after Curtis realised during the Casa Amor stage that he didn’t have the same feelings for her – also hit back at the idea the contestants should be able to deal with the drama.
She continued: "And before people say ‘you know what you signed up for’, we knew it was coming, but I never knew five days could be that long (should have just gone home). (sic)"
Despite the heartbreak at the time, Amy has previously insisted she "wouldn’t change anything" about her dramatic ‘Love Island’ exit.
She said: "I’ve watched my exit, and I cried my eyes out. I knew what was gonna happen and I still cried. But I wouldn’t change anything, no.
"The thing is, when you’re in there you have no sense of reality, you’ve got no grasp of what’s actually going on for weeks. But leaving my friends was horrendous."
