Love Island’s Shaughna Phillips left ‘fuming’ after twins enter villa

‘Love Island’s Shaughna Phillips has already had her patience tested, after her partner Callum Jones’ head was turned by twins Eve and Jess Gale.
The 25-year-old democratic services officer paired up with the scaffolder during the first episode of the ITV2 reality show’s very first winter series on Sunday (12.01.20), and was immediately smitten with the hunk, who "ticked all the boxes" for her.
Speaking in the Beach Hut, she said: "I feel like the cat that got the cream right now. Callum is ticking all the boxes."
And during a chat with her fellow female islanders, she gushed: "My head’s gone. He’s just so lovely to talk to, like I really fancy him. He might get a little like … arm rub, tonight. Just an arm rub. I mean … I don’t know."
But their blossoming romance could already be in jeopardy, as toward the end of Sunday’s episode, Nas Majeed received a text message indicating the arrival of two new islanders.
The message read: "It’s time to really get the party started as two very important guests are about to arrive #doubletrouble #twiceasnice #gameon."
As rumours swirled among the contestants about whether the two additions would be girls or boys, stunning twins Eve and Jess Gale made their way into the villa, immediately catching the attention of several boys, including Callum.
Nas said: "I actually couldn’t believe it. Twins – what a bombshell!"
Whilst Callum added: "Double trouble!"
The head turning beauties didn’t go down well with Shaughna though, who is concerned Callum may decide to pursue love with one of the twins instead.
In the Beach Hut, she admitted: "We just see these two blondes, looking like they’ve just stepped out of Playboy. I was really trying so hard not to look fuming. I was trying so hard not to look bothered. I don’t know what’s wrong with me."
Once Eve and Jess had been introduced to the other islanders, it was revealed via text that they will soon be picking which hunk they each want to couple up with, which will leave two girls "single and vulnerable".
‘Love Island’ airs every night on ITV2.
