Cheryl Fergison wants to return to ‘EastEnders’ as Heather Trott’s long lost twin.
The 54-year-old actress – whose character was killed off by Ben Mitchell (Joshua Pascoe) in 2012 – seems to have accepted her alter ego won’t return from the dead, but the soap star would still love an Albert Square comeback.
She wrote on Instagram: "OK so I’ve had lots of people asking if I could go back to @bbceaStenders as Hev’s long lost twin…
"So writers there’s a challenge and actually there is a storyline that could defo make that possible…
"Remember Hev’s mum ( she was a wicked one )and aunt babes terrible past story of selling babies !! …if you would like to see this epic come back let @bbceastenders know (sic)"
Meanwhile, Cheryl previously issued a come and get me plea to ‘Coronation Street’ bosses as she eyed up a stint on the cobbles.
She said: "It’s so tempting to just cross the bridge and chain myself to the @itv @coronationstreet set here @salfordmediacity and say "come on Corrie you know the cobbles could have a new character just give my agent a call " #cheeky #dontaskneverknow #promote #livingupnorth #madforit (sic)"
Cheryl also shared a selfie in front of a Rovers Return facade, and wrote: "I just suit this background don’t you think ? (sic)"
In October 2018, the star admitted she would love to join ‘Emmerdale’, and could play a "long-lost Dingle" on the show.
She said: "I wouldn’t mind getting in another one of those soaps. Yeah please. ‘Corrie’ or ‘Emmerdale’, a long-lost Dingle, or anything."
And in February last year, Cheryl begged bosses of Irish soap ‘Fair City’ for a role.
During a break from her ‘Menopause: The Musical’ tour in Ireland, she took some time off to visit the set of the popular programme and put herself up for a potential new part.
She said in a clip: "OK everyone I am here in Dublin. I am promoting ‘Menopause: The Musical’, but today I am on the set of ‘Fair City’.
"Look, there is everything. There is the Spar and everything … I think that you guys should give me a little job on ‘Fair City’ and I should be on it.
"Somebody who passes through for about six months and maybe gets killed off again?"
