Scarlett Allen-Horton suggests Lord Sugar could be more involved in Apprentice

Scarlett Allen-Horton has suggested Lord Sugar could play a more active role in ‘The Apprentice’ process.
The 32-year-old recruitment company owner missed out on the businessman’s £250,000 investment as he chose Carina Lepore to be his business partner during last night’s (18.12.19) final, and she has appeared to hint that he could do a bit more to see what the candidates get up to during the show, because he leaves Claude Littner and Karren Brady to observe the candidates.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, Scarlett said: "Lord Sugar has never seen us do anything face-to-face, it’s all fed back to him through Karren and Claude."
Scarlett admitted that she felt a mixture of pride and "disappointment" after missing out on victory.
She said: "It’s a combination of both disappointment and pride. I’m very competitive and want to win but it wasn’t meant to be on this occasion."
What’s more, she found pitching to industry experts more "daunting" than pitching to Lord Sugar.
Scarlett explained: "It was daunting. You are pitching in front of industry experts, which is even more nerve-wracking than pitching to Lord Sugar, Karren and Claude."
The star was reunited with her fellow candidates during the final, although she was unhappy with the advertisement they produced for her business.
She explained: "I came up with the advertising concept, but it could have been executed better."
However, she did suggest that their "energy and enthusiasm" had helped her during the final.
She said: "They bought lots of energy and enthusiasm. They gave it their all to help me and Carina."
