Eamonn Holmes: My life would be finished if I lost Ruth

Eamonn Holmes says his life would be "finished" if he lost Ruth Langsford.
The ‘This Morning’ co-host admitted he doesn’t know how he would cope if he lost his wife Ruth Langsford, after she tragically lost her sister Julia Johnson in June.
He said: "I want to experience a life with Ruth. If I lost her the way she’s lost her sister, my life as I know it would be finished. I doubt if I could be on my own because I’d miss her so much."
Ruth admits she and Eamonn – who she wed in 2010 – "bicker and disagree" but their roots are "solid", and described her man as "very emotional and very caring" as she paid tribute to their relationship.
Speaking to OK! magazine, she said: "We’re like an oak tree.
"Things flap about in the wind, we bicker, we disagree, but actually our roots are solid, we’re very together. [He is] very sentimental, very emotional and very caring."
The 59-year-old presenter described Eamonn, 60, as her "protector" and likened their romance to a "lion and lioness".
She explained: "Eamonn’s lying under the tree, scratching his belly, with one eye half open. I’m busying around.
"Suddenly there’s a problem – there’s a crocodile. I go, ‘Eamonn!’ I run to him and he’s my protector."
