Kim Kardashian West defends family’s absence from Caitlyn’s I’m A Celeb exit

Kim Kardashian West has slammed claims she and her family snubbed the chance to be at Caitlyn Jenner’s exit from ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’.
Following her step brother Brandon Jenner stating that "no one reached out" to ask a member of the family to be there when the 70-year-old reality star exited the jungle, the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star has backed up her sibling’s response to a fan in a direct message, who questioned why he wasn’t there when his parent walked over the bridge to leave alone, and suggested it was to create "more empathy" for Caitlyn.
In the screenshot of the alleged communication between Brandon and the unnamed Instagram user, he wrote back: "Honestly, nobody reached out to set it up! I think it might have been a "storyline" the producers wanted to fabricate in order to get more empathy for Caitlyn.
"That’s how that kind of TV works."
And now Kim has taken to Twitter herself to defend her family’s absence during the elimination in Australia recently.
She wrote: "Exactly what Brandon said!!!! NO ONE from I’m A Celeb even reached out and asked for letters, appearances or anything from any Kardashians or Jenners. (sic)"
Caitlyn’s partner Sophia Hutchins couldn’t make it to the eviction as her flight was delayed from Los Angeles, but they ended up celebrating at the Palazzo Versace hotel on Australia’s Gold Coast with some of the other stars who had also left the reality show.
Fellow contestant James Haskell was reportedly determined to support Caitlyn when she left.
The 34-year-old former rugby star greeted Caitlyn as soon as she left, after she was allegedly snubbed by her famous family and because Sophie had not yet landed in the country.
A source said at the time:"James met Caitlyn when she came over the bridge.
"He sat with her for the entire leaving process – he asked to do it to make sure she had someone."
During her time on the ITV show, Caitlyn confessed she hasn’t spoken to Khloe Kardashian in "five or six years".
The reality star claimed that following her split from Khloe’s mother Kris Jenner and her decision to come out as transgender, she hasn’t spoken to the 35-year-old beauty.
Asked about telling people about her gender reassignment surgery, Caitlyn shared: "I went through every kid and Khloe for some reason was pi***d off about something through this whole process – it’s been five or six years and I’ve really haven’t talked to her since."
