Kate Garraway grew closer to Caitlyn Jenner after picking cockroaches off her bum

Kate Garraway grew closer to Caitlyn Jenner after picking cockroaches off her bum during their time on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’.
The 52-year-old TV presenter – who finished fourth in this year’s competition – made friends with the Olympic champion when they camped out in the Australian jungle, and admitted the intimate moment in the waterfall shower helped them to become so close.
When asked what her best bit from the ITV show was, Kate told ‘Good Morning Britain’: "Without doubt, the best part was the people … you don’t really have the chance to get to know people until you pick cockroaches off their bottom in a waterfall shower.
"That was Caitlyn Jenner by the way that I did that to."
The ‘GMB’ presenter confessed her time in jungle came with a "sprinkling of torture", but she was happy to get away from the hustle and bustle of reality.
Speaking to Piers Morgan on the morning show, she added: "I’m so pleased I did it. It was extraordinary, you said it would be Piers.
"It really, really was. You know when you watch the show and you think that looks really hard, I could never do it. It is really hard and I couldn’t really do it, but … it is so extraordinary to be in there.
"It is the most amazing thing to be away from everything for a month. You don’t get to do it.
"There is obviously a large sprinkling of torture involved, but you get through that and the rest is just laughs and amazingness."
