Starsky and Hutch stars in talks for return

‘Starsky & Hutch’ could be making a return.
The iconic police drama – which ran for four series from 1975 to 1979 – starred David Soul and Paul Michael Glaser, now both 76, as Kenneth ‘Hutch’ Hutchinson and David Starsky respectively – and now the TV duo are planning a comeback.
David told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: "We’re in talks to make a new movie. We are discussing plans to something with two 76-year-old guys coming back, just me and Paul.
"It could be a lot of fun. Now, in film, whatever is old is new again. Some of us get it and some of us grew up with it.
"It is our idea. Jumping on car bonnets and running down fire escapes is what it’s all about."
The pair previously appeared in a cameo role in the 2004 ‘Starsky & Hutch’ remake – which starred Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson – and David acknowledged how much time has passed for him and Paul.
He quipped: "The show was about our relationship. It will probably be called ‘Starsky & Crutch.’ "
His comments come after he previously seemed to shoot down the idea of a revival, as he claimed the show wasn’t actually "that good".
Speaking over summer, he insisted: "It wasn’t that good the first time, it just caught the imagination and everyone liked the car. I liked the car.
"Maybe the car could make a comeback but I don’t think Paul and I could run around like we used to.
"We used to roll out of the car while it was still moving sometimes – that might be just a little bit difficult these days!"
