Scarlett Moffatt enjoying Christmas build-up without Extra Camp role

Scarlett Moffatt is glad she made the decision to leave ‘I’m A Celebrity: Extra Camp’ as she can now enjoy the run up to Christmas.
The 29-year-old star left her co-presenting role – alongside Joe Swash and Joel Dommett – on the ITV2 spin-off show after two series, and she’s glad to have swapped the sunny Australian jungle for a more traditional festive season back in the UK.
Scarlett told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: "It’s nice to watch it with the Christmas tree in the corner because you can’t get Christmassy in Australia.
"When you are in a swimsuit, it doesn’t really feel the same."
The ‘Gogglebox’ alum stole the nation’s hearts when she was crowned Queen of the Jungle in 2016, and decided to return for ‘Extra Camp’ before announcing her departure for the current run.
She wrote: "For three years I have enjoyed a jungle life, being crowned queen of the jungle, and having the greatest time presenting ‘Extra Camp’ with Swashy and Joel, who I now class as best friends.
"The jungle absolutely changed my life and I am massively grateful to everybody who voted for me whilst in the jungle and for your constant support to date and everybody who tuned in to ‘Extra Camp.’
"Massive thank you to all the team including Richard, Angela, Toni, pecks and of course @antanddec and @hollywilloughby @joeldommett and @realjoeswashy but I have got a project that I’ve been working on (alongside my family) that I am very very excited to announce soon."
Following in her footsteps, Joe – who had appeared on the programme since 2009 – also bid farewell to the show while this year, Joel has been joined by 2018 runner up Emily Attack and 2016 campmate Adam Thomas.
