Nadine Coyle ‘dreading’ being away from daughter on I’m A Celebrity

Nadine Coyle is "dreading" being away from her daughter when she takes part in ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’.
The 34-year-old singer isn’t looking forward to spending time apart from her five-year-old Anaiya, and if she doesn’t get voted out of the ITV talent show first then it’ll be the longest time she has ever been away from the little one.
She said: "I have been away for 10 days for work before but not longer.
"I am dreading being away from everybody and not being able to phone and say, ‘How are you doing? How is my daughter?’ "
The Girls Aloud singer is hoping the Australian jungle-based show will push her "so far" out of her "comfort zone", and she is hoping to learn a lot about herself during the experience.
She added: "I really hope that by doing this, it pushes me so far out the comfort zone and that I learn to be comfortable, feel relaxed and do the things that I didn’t used to be afraid of.
"I’ve never boiled water on a fire, chopped firewood, slept outside – I do hope I learn stuff about me and it’s the next phase."
Nadine was offered some marine training to get her jungle ready, but she thought such preparation might be a bit too "extreme".
She said: "Some of my friends and family were really shocked. They asked me what I was doing and pointed out I was afraid of my own shadow.
"But I am just hoping my jungle lady will come out. My sister’s husband is an ex marine.
"He did offer to do some marine training with me in the run up to it, but I thought that was a bit too extreme."
Nadine will come face-to-face with her campmates when the new series kicks off on Sunday (17.11.19).
She will be living in Oz alongside former footballer Ian Wright, Rak-Su singer Myles Stephenson, Radio 1 DJ Adele Roberts, comedian Andrew Maxwell, ex-‘EastEnders’ actress Jacqueline Jossa, Capital Radio DJ Roman Kemp, Olympian and TV personality Caitlyn Jenner, former England rugby player James Haskell, and TV presenter Kate Garraway.
