The Hairy Bikers think they are the Morecambe and Wise of cooking shows

The Hairy Bikers believe that they are the Morecambe and Wise of cooking shows.
The culinary duo – made up of Si King and Dave Myers – believe their "chemistry" makes that partnership so successful, and likened it to the iconic comedy pair.
Speaking to The Times newspaper, Simon said: "We have a chemistry. Like Morecambe and Wise."
Dave joked: "But we don’t lie in bed drinking tea in our pyjamas."
Dave, 62, admitted that the partnership has survived since the 1990s because the pair "really like each other" and have a genuine friendship.
He explained: "We’ve never strayed far from the fact that we really like each other and we really like cooking for each other and our loved ones. You could take the hair out and it would still work."
The pair have such a strong bond that when Myers broke his shoulder and wrist in a motorcycle accident, his co-star came round to his house to help him with his ironing and even in the shower.
He joked: "My armpits, not me bits."
However, he does admit that he is more outgoing than Si, 53, who "needs bringing out of himself occasionally".
His friend agrees, saying: "Yeah, I would never have done ‘Strictly Come Dancing’. You look better in sequins than I do."
Myers – who competed on the show BBC’s Latin and ballroom show six years ago – added: "Yes, I do like to show off a bit more than you, I suppose. Generally, we have a rule; if one is keen to do a project and the other is in two minds, we probably do it. But if one of us is vehemently against it, we drop it."
