John Torode and Lisa Faulkner have shared the first photos of their wedding on Instagram.
The newlyweds posted two romantic photos from their special day on their Instagram accounts on Friday (25.10.19).
Lisa, 47, who posted an image of her new husband gazing at her, wrote: "The happiest day of my life!!! Cue the wedding spam for the next few weeks! Apologies in advance. Yesterday I married the man of my dreams @johntorodecooks and we had the BEST Day EVER, filled with all our family and friends and such Love. Whilst, the 54-year-old celebrity chef shared a picture carrying the actress, captioned: "Officially married the girl of my dreams yesterday @lisafaulknercooks what a day!! Thank you @aynhoepark photo courtesy of @jamesfearphotography (sic)"
The pair tied the knot at country house Aynhoe Park in Northamptonshire yesterday (24.10.19), nearly 10 months to the day after John popped the question on Christmas Day (25.12.18) – and Lisa revealed the news to her fans a week into 2019.
Gold balloons and a giant inflatable BRIDE balloon decorated the wedding reception, along with a giant giraffe statue which had balloons tied around it.
The lovebirds agreed to have a tower of espresso martinis in place of a champagne tower as guests tucked into oysters.
Former ‘Coronation Street’ star Charlie Condou took to Instagram yesterday to share some snaps of the spectacle.
He posted several pictures of himself at the event alongside the likes of Amanda Holden, and Tamzin Outhwaite, and he posted a picture of the Order of Service.
It read: "John and Lisa. Order of Service. Aynhoe Park, 24th October 2019, 4 O’Clock."
Amanda was sporting a fetching pair of red crutches for the wedding after recently breaking her leg on holiday.
Charlie also shared a picture of former ‘Corrie’ actresses Nicola Stephenson and Angela Griffin, and ‘Kidulthood’ star Kate Magowan at the reception.
