Dianne Buswell ‘not OK’ following Strictly Come Dancing elimination

Dianne Buswell is "not OK" following her and Dev Griffin’s shock ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ exit.
The pro dancer and the Radio 1 DJ were the third couple to be eliminated from this year’s series of the BBC One Latin and ballroom show yesterday (13.10.19), after ending up in the dance-off alongside Viscountess Emma Weymouth and her partner Aljaz Skorjanec.
Speaking on ‘Lorraine’, Dianne’s boyfriend Joe Sugg – who hooked up after being partnered together on last year’s show – said: "What did happen? I think, like the rest of the country right now, I am in massive shock.
"I’m absolutely gutted for Dev and Dianne. It’s just a real shock."
When asked by show host Lorraine Kelly if Dianne "is OK", Joe replied: "No, not really.
"I really don’t think it should’ve been them to go.
"They had so much potential. He was brilliant, an amazing student. Weird."
After the two couples had performed their dances again, all four judges – Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Bruno Tonioli, and head judge Shirley Ballas – voted to save Emma and Aljaz, meaning Dev and Dianne were sent packing.
Former ‘Coronation Street’ star Catherine Tyldesley, who is currently competing on this year’s series, is "gutted" that Dev and Dianne have been eliminated from the show.
She wrote on Instagram: "I love this man @dev … I can’t put into words what a loss you and @diannebuswell are … I look forward to watching you both every week as you are ALWAYS amazing. . I’m gutted that your journey has ended so early. Please come back and see us. We love you dude And @diannebuswell – you’re a phenomenal, strong, beautiful and kind woman – you brought out the best in Dev – well done beautiful. See you at school . Love you xxxxxx (sic)"
