Lord Sugar sells shares in Alana Spencer’s business

Lord Sugar has sold his shares in Alana Spencer’s business back to her.
The ‘Apprentice’ star invested £250,000 in her cake company Ridiculously Rich when she won the 2016 series of the BBC business show, but he still plans to keep tabs on how she is doing.
He said: "I will follow Alana’s progress with much affection."
She added: "The knowledge and advice gained from Lord Sugar and his team in the early stages of the business has been invaluable."
Alana’s business is booming, with the company supporting nearly 50 franchisees around the country.
An insider told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: "Alana has now bought back all of Lord Sugar’s shares in Ridiculously Rich and she is now the sole owner and director of the firm.
"The luxury, hand-made cake company now supports almost 50 franchisees across the country."
Alana previously admitted she had "grown as a person" during the series, and learnt not to "take things to heart so much".
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, she said: "It’s incredible. I don’t think anyone thought at the beginning – including myself – that it would ever be me. I’ve massively learnt not to take things so seriously and not to take things to heart so much. I’ve won £250,000 and grown as a person as well. I had an email earlier saying that a few more legal things have to be done and then the money will transferred to my bank account."
Alana beat off competition from Courtney Wood in the final.
She said afterwards: "Courtney is an amazing guy. Very humble and he came straight over and congratulated me. We have a lot of respect for each other."
