Catherine Tyldesley’s husband has "hit it off" with her ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ pro partner.
The former ‘Coronation Street’ star’s significant other has invited dancer Johannes Radebe over to dinner to get to know him ahead of the start of the BBC Latin and ballroom series.
She said: "He hit it off with Johannes straight away.
"He has already invited him round for dinner, so I think Johannes will become part of our family."
Catherine admits Tom’s pals are always poking fun at him, and even used to wind him up when her ‘Corrie’ character Eva Price got a new boyfriend.
She said: "His mates wind him up about everything. They used to wind him up when I got a new boyfriend on Corrie, but Tom just takes it on the chin.
"He is so selfless, my best friend, and the greatest support to me. If ever I am doing a live performance, having Tom there just calms me down."
Speaking in a joint interview with HELLO! magazine, the personal trainer added: "My friends have always given me a lot of stick. I am easy pickings for them with a wife on TV so, when the whole ‘Strictly’ thing came up, they were rubbing their hands getting ready."
Catherine previously admitted she expected to be partnered with Johannes or Aljaz Skorjanec, because she is 5ft 6ins.
She said: "They are the only two dancers they could put me with because of my height. They are both wonderful. I’d love anybody that will have me and is patient enough!
"I am really nervous. I genuinely cannot dance and people keep going, ‘Oh I am gonna put a bet on you’ and I am like, ‘No.’ I think people are going to be really surprised."
