Jon Voight can’t wait for granddaughter’s film debut

Jon Voight can’t wait for his granddaughter Vivienne Jolie-Pitt’s film debut.

The proud grandfather is looking forward to seeing daughter Angelina Jolie’s little girl following in the family footsteps on the big screen as she appears alongside her famous mother in new Disney movie ‘Maleficent’.

Jon gushed to People.com: "I’m excited to see how Vivienne did. I’ll be there. I’m so excited."

Vivienne, five, plays the young Princess Aurora in the ‘Sleeping Beauty’ reimagining and it seems the little girl had plenty of support on set from her famous parents, Angelina, 38, and Brad Pitt, 50.

Jon said: "Apparently when they were doing it, the funny thing was, Angie and Brad were off-camera trying to get her to respond. You know, telling her, ‘You’re happy and you’re running through the field.’ And they followed her with the camera. That’s what I heard. That’s what I read. I can imagine that!"

And regardless of how Vivienne fares on the big screen, the 78-year-old actor – who is also grandfather to Angelina’s children Maddox, 12, Pax, 10, Zahara, nine, Shiloh, seven, and Vivienne’s twin Knox – says he will be "proud" of her.

He added: "It’s just like any grandchild. You’re going to be proud of her no matter what she did."
