The 48-year-old actress – who made her own comeback last year after first playing Mel Owen in Albert Square from 1998 to 2002 – was delighted to see her pal return as Lisa Fowler in scenes aired earlier this week and loved seeing their real-life friendship echoed on screen.

And Lucy isn’t the only ‘EastEnders’ actress Tamzin – who is preparing to depart Walford once more – enjoys working with as she’s also been looking forward to shooting some scenes with "legend" Letitia Dean, who plays Sharon Mitchell.
She tweeted: "Right… it’s time to get on with the job in hand… filming with another legend #LetitiaDean Gonna miss you too my Tishie [heart emoji] (sic)"
