Beverley Callard mourns dog

Beverley Callard has been left "brokenhearted" by the death of her dog.
The ‘Coronation Street’ actress’ beloved pooch Jeffrey has passed away at the age of just three following a battle with cancer.
She tweeted: "On Friday we had to say goodbye to our beautiful Jeffrey only 3 years old, but he had terminal cancer! We are broken hearted! I know my Twitter friends loved him too. God bless x (sic)"
The 62-year-old star received a message of support from her co-star Simon Gregon, who plays her on-screen son.
He replied: "So sorry Bev night god bless Jeffery I loved you very much xx (sic)"
Fellow ‘Corrie’ actress Kym Marsh’s family were also saddened by the news.
Kym tweeted: "Oh no I’m so sorry Beverley. My David loves him! He sends his love. Sleep tight gorgeous boy! X"
Former ‘Coronation Street’ actresses Hayley Tamaddon, Jacqueline Leonard, and Vicky Entwhistle also reached out to her friend.
Hayley wrote: Aww Bev I’m so sorry [crying and heart emojis] (sic)"
Jacqueline tweeted: "So sorry for your loss Beverley.. [broken heart emojis] sending lots of love and hugs your way sweetheart (sic)"
Vicky posted: "Sorry to here that sad news Darling!! Andy & I sending our love to you both!"
Last week, Beverley had turned to ‘Supervet’ expert Professor Noel Fitzpatrick for help with Jeffrey.
She tweeted him a photo of the pooch and wrote: "Hi Noel,
I hope your well I’ve sent you a couple of emails via Jules,
Look forward to seeing you. Much love xx"
Noel didn’t reply publicly.
