Shay Mooney and his wife Hannah are expecting their second child.
The Dan + Shay singer and his spouse – who already have two-year-old son Asher James together – have announced they are set to welcome another baby boy into the world.
The couple got Asher to make the announcement in a cute video and photo shoot on Instagram.
In a clip, he said: "I’m having a baby brother."
The ‘Speechless’ singer admitted they thought they were going to be having a girl and he joked that there will soon be "a new duo in town".
Shay captioned the post: "Celebrating a number 1 with baby number 2! Hannah and I have been dying to share the news. We thought for sure we’d be announcing a baby girl, but God has other plans for the Mooney’s. Found out today we’re having a BOY! Bout to be a new duo in town (sic)"
Hannah was also convinced she is carrying a little girl and gushed about how she can’t wait to see her son be "the sweetest big brother".
She captioned her own post: "We have cried and laughed all morning (I thought for sure it was a girl)!
"We are over the moon and can’t wait to see this precious guy be the sweetest big brother, early next year!"
Shay – who tied the knot with former Miss Arkansas Hannah in October 2017 – previously admitted becoming a parent opened up an "entire other deeper world" that he never knew existed before.
He admitted: "It has been a huge change and the best change.
"You love each other a ton and then you have a kid and you never realise how much you could love something.
"It strengthens your love for each other, but it also just opens up this entire other deeper world of love that you never knew you could have."
