Love Island’s Molly-Mae Hague defends herself after ‘two-faced’ comment

Love Island’s Molly-Mae Hague has defended herself after being called "two-faced" by Belle Hassan.
The social media influencer and boyfriend Tommy Fury, 20, voted to send Anton Danyluk and Belle home during their time in the villa, which Belle later called "tactical", but Molly-Mae has now admitted it was "a shame" to read such comments.
The 21-year-old make-up artist recently said: "I think Molly has too many opinions sometimes. I really get on with Molly, but she can be a little bit two-faced."
Molly-Mae has now told The Sun Online: "It is a shame. Tommy and I will hopefully speak to Anton and Belle when we get out and chat about it.
"We had to pick a couple and it is hard. We did what we did and it was a joint decision from Tommy and I. There were absolutely no tactics involved whatsoever."
Tommy – who is the younger brother of boxing champion Tyson Fury – insisted it was the voters’ decisions that saw Belle and Anton booted out.
He added: "We put Anton and Belle in the bottom three, but it was the public who voted Anton and Belle out."
Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea were crowned the winners of this year’s ‘Love Island’ after being together for two weeks, even though Tommy and Molly-Mae were hot favourites to win the show for most of the series.
But the silver medal winners have insisted there were no hard feelings.
Molly-Mae said: "At the end of the day we weren’t in there to win. We came second and that’s incredible. We’re just so happy. We can’t stop smiling.
"We don’t care that we didn’t win. It’s not a big deal. Amber and Greg deserved it."
The remaining eight islanders arrived back in the UK on Wednesday morning (31.07.2019) after being on lock down for a few days.
